Friday:

5:00-9:00p, Arrival, setup tents, Marley's Mountain
Arrival times will vary greatly between LC's so this will be the time everyone to setup tents and prepare for some quality camping. Because of soft ground, everyone will be required to walk camping supplies up to Marley's Mountain

7:00-8:00p, Dinner, Maw & Paw's, see menu

9:00-10:00p, IAESTE comedy night, Base Tent
Inspired by the anonymous joke telling and general comedy found both the National and International Conferences, this is an opportunity for IAESTE's hidden comedians to bring out their best. It will be a very relaxed setting where even the stupid jokes will go. Attendees are recommended to prepare a list in advance and may read from a cue sheet if necessary (although it is better if you recite from memory). Skits are welcome and can be prepared in advance. Bring any props you see necessary.

10:00p-Late, general IAESTE reveling, Base Tent or wherever
This is a time to just relax away from the stresses of school and hang out with rocking IAESTE people. You may choose to sleep or hang out into the wee hours of the night. Joel will be holding a late night woods walk.

Saturday:

9:00-10:00a Breakfast, Maw & Paw's , see menu

10:00-11:00a Walking tour, Sledding Vista
There are 3 miles of trail to walk around on. This will be a good opportunity to wake up and enjoy the great outdoors. Unfortunately, much of the trails are muddy, so it will be required that everyone bring boots or rubbers to walk in mud. We will cut out the super muddy areas, but the tour should show you most of the X-girl-scout camp as possible. One of the Kuhn's will guide the tour.

11:00-12:00a Reception talk, Base Tent
The talk will primarily consist of avoiding pitfalls in reception. Reception is a key element of IAESTE that many people overlook. We, as IAESTE-Midwesterners, need to ensure that we are the best hosts as possible to our IAESTE foreign visitors. Also, we will be talking about Chicago GTG plans.

12:00-12:30p Quick snack, Base Tent
This will not be a major meal and isn't part of the meal plan. LC's will be required to bring foods of their choice to eat for lunch. There may be some leftovers from breakfast that may also be eaten as well.

1:00-4:00p Dodgeball/Windy Maples Olympics
We will split up into two groups; one will play a wicked game of dodgeball, while the other will compete in the Windy Maples Olymipics.  For dodgeball-yeah it's a tradition. The course will be located near the Base Tent - see map. The Olympics will have four events of which are not to be disclosed. However, you can anticipate things like sack races and ropes course events.  Prizes will be awarded to the champions of each event.

4:30-6:00p Free / Open Time
May opt to take showers, which will be available at the Hartford Rec Center, do whatever.

6:00-8:00p, Dinner, Maw & Paw's, see menu

8:00-9:00p, Campfire lighting contest
Again we will be broken into groups for this event. The point here is to light a fire without the help of things we take for granted-matches and lighters. Each team will be given the appropriate supplies to start their own small campfire. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest team.

9:00p-Night, Music by DJ Otto
DJ Otto, Adam Wiegmann, has put on numerous events for schools and weddings. He owns all his own equipment, 4,000 tracks, as well as lighting equipment. He is also an engineer and works at Hamilton Sundstrand in Rockford , IL . More info can be found at www.discspinnerdjs.com

11:00p Bonfire, Sand Pit
IAESTE Midwest-ceremonial campfire.

10:00a, Breakfast, see menu
